The dry-to-the-touch waxed cotton shell is made of a heavyweight 12oz cotton. It helps to resist abrasion, as well as shed water. The nature of dry waxed fabric is to be stiff at first. After a quick break in time, the fabric will soften and mold to your body. Contouring to your shoulders, and becoming nimble in the elbows. The shell will shrink slightly with wear as it forms to you, just like a motorcycle jacket.
