COYOTE ROLL TOPS SOCKS

William Ellery Roll Top Socks in Coyote are on ongoing research project of technical hosiery.

Socks are made in small batches, and may only be produced once.

Roll Top Socks are the result of expermination in wool, through our Lichen Experiment. In our last esperiment, v17.1, we increased the elastic in the arch of the foot, and reduced the length of the footbed by 10 knit rows. This should allow for a more snug fit, and better expansion when wearing for prolonged periods of time.

When studying the outdoor gear revolution of the 70s, we imagined what our Lichen sock experiment would have looked like. In this rare detour on technicality, we experiment with practicality. Our goal is to create an all purpose, all winter, full terry sock.

• 85% Super Fine Merino Wool

• 12% Nylon

• 3% Elastic
